Fare Type


Flex

  • Change of name, date and time are permitted up to 60 mins before scheduled time of departure at no charge. No changes permitted within 60 mins before scheduled time of departure.
  • When you cancel your flight at least 60 mins before scheduled time of departure, you can keep your ticket open for future use at no charge. However travel must be completed within one year of purchase.
  • Fare is refundable, if cancellation is made at least 60 mins before scheduled time of departure and is subject to an admin fee. Fees for online cancellations are lower. Note that if ticket has been upgraded from a non-refundable category (e.g. Rex Saver, Rex Net, Rex Net Plus) to Rex Flex, only the amount paid for the upgrade (i.e. fare difference between original fare type and Rex Flex) will be refunded.
  • Fare is forfeited if passenger fails to complete check-in before the flight is closed (60 minutes for Burketown; 30 minutes for Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Queensland airports; 20 minutes for regional airports in NSW, SA, TAS, VIC and WA) or is not used within one year of purchase.
  • Checked baggage allowance for non-discounted Rex Flex tickets is 23kg, compared to the standard Rex checked baggage allowance of 15kg. Excess baggage charges apply over 23kg.
Saver

  • Change of date and time are permitted up to 12 hours before scheduled time of departure with payment of applicable admin fee per flight sector. Fees for on-line changes are lower. No changes permitted within 12 hours before scheduled time of departure.
  • Change of name is permitted up to 12 hours before scheduled time of departure with payment of applicable admin fee per name change. Fees for on-line changes are lower. No changes permitted within 12 hours before scheduled time of departure.
  • In the event that your fare category is not available for your changed flight, you will have to pay additional to have access to the next best fare.
  • Fare is non-refundable. However if booking is cancelled at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure, you can keep your ticket open for future use by paying applicable admin fee. However travel must be completed within one year of purchase. Fee for on-line changes are lower.
  • Fare is forfeited if passenger fails to complete check-in before the flight is closed (60 minutes for Burketown; 30 minutes for Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Queensland airports; 20 minutes for regional airports in NSW, SA, TAS, VIC and WA) or is not used within one year of purchase.

Community

  • No Flight changes (i.e. name, date, time, origin, destination) are permitted.
  • Fare is non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • Rex Community Fare is 30 day advance purchase (60 day advance purchase QLD Regulated Routes) and available within 24 hours prior to departure.
  • Carriage is provided by Regional Express Pty Limited (ACN 101 325 642) in accordance with and subject to its Conditions of Carriage available on the Regional Express website and attached to this ticket issued by its agent, Regional Express Holdings Limited (ACN 099 547 270).

Redemption

  • Business Flyer Reward flights are available on all Rex flights subject to last seat availability on the aircraft.
  • Change of name, date, time are permitted up to 48 hours before scheduled time of departure with payment of applicable admin fee per flight sector plus any additional taxes, however travel must be completed before the expiry date of the Reward Flight.
  • Changes to bookings are not permitted within 48 hours prior to departure.
  • Bookings can be placed in credit for use before the expiry date and are subject to an applicable admin fee per flight change plus any additional taxes upon rebooking.
  • Bookings unable to be used before the expiry date may be submitted for refund up to 3 days prior to the scheduled date of travel and will incur an applicable administration fee.
  • Fare is forfeited if passenger fails to complete check-in before the flight is closed (60 minutes for Burketown; 30 minutes for Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Queensland airports; 20 minutes for regional airports in NSW, SA, TAS, VIC and WA) or is not used before the expiry date of the reward flight.
  • Once travel has commenced any unused portion of a Reward Flight will not be refunded or re-credited.
  • If your child is unaccompanied, please advise the Customer Contact Centre on 13 17 13 at least 48 hours before the intended travel
